Orlando is the fifth most 'rent-burdened' U.S. city

The Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford metro came in high on a report released by government-sponsored mortgage lender Freddie Mac ranking the nation's top 20 rent-burdened metro areas – areas whose residents spend more than 30 percent of total income on housing. Miami is ranked as the most rent-burdened city in the U.S., followed by San Diego, Los Angeles, New York and Orlando. Two other Florida cities, Tampa and Jacksonville, came in at No. 7 and No. 25 respectively on the list.
