Former publishing tycoon's lakefront mansion sells to auto dealer

A mansion transaction that involved a couple of high-profile business executives ended up being Windermere's highest-priced home sale in more than three years.

Toyota of Orlando Chairman Joseph Siviglia and Pamela Siviglia paid nearly $7.2 million to buy a two-story, 10.87-acre lakefront home in the Isleworth Golf & Country Club last summer from retired publishing industry executive Rance Crain, former co-owner of Detroit-based Crain Communications Inc., parent to a chain of business publications that includes Crain's Chicago Business, Advertising Age and InvestmentNews.

The 21-year-old Isleworth home — which had been on the market since 2015 and was listed at $15 million — also was Central Florida's top home sale in 2018, according to the Orlando Regional Realtor Association.

The Windermere home sale was chosen as the Deal of the Year in Orlando Business Journal's 2019 Residential Real Estate Awards.
